Patient Participation Group:  Would you like to join our Patient Group? The Surgery will be undergoing a major refurbishment in 2021 and we also have a new Practice Manager.  This seems like a good time to meet with our Patient group (perhaps virtually) to get your views on the practice and on the upcoming works.  If you are interested in joining this group please email stokesley.mailbox@nhs.net

CORONAVIRUS VACCINATION PROGRAMME  We have commenced our Coronavirus Vaccine programme and will contact patients with details once they are eligible. We are currently contacting those patients aged 70 years and over and those were shielding.  Please do not contact the surgery, we will contact all patients in due course.

We will be sending text invites with a link to book an appointment if we have your mobile phone number.

Vaccinations are currently being given at a central hub in Northallerton and not at the Surgery.

SHIELDING PATIENTS:

We do not issue letters to patients who are advised to Shield.  Letters are either sent to you directly from NHS England based on the information in your medical records or alternatively, if you haven’t been sent a letter and think you should be shielding, you can visit the NHS website HERE and have one sent to your email address.

NHS App Free

The NHS App lets you book GP appointments, order repeat prescriptions and access a range of other healthcare services.

Stokesley Health Centre since 1 April 2013 has been owned by NHS Property Services. It opened more than 40 years ago and has gone through various changes since opening.

As well as the general practice the health centre also has a large community team which work from the health centre this includes the district nursing service, health visiting service, school health service, midwives and mental health services.

The Health Centre is also used by various community and hospital services which enables patients to be seen locally rather than them travelling to the local hospitals.

The aim of the practice is to provide a helpful and friendly service while continuing to improve the quality and range of healthcare services that we offer to our patients through the Practice.
